| Lincoln, NE.- Seacrest field was the site of an old rival game between #1 Lincoln Southeast and #10 Lincoln East. The Knights capitalized on 2 long runs, 2 long passes and 2 long field goals to dim any chance of a Spartan upset. Over 4,000 fans watched the big Southeast line provide problems for the Spartans in a 20-0 loss. Outside a couple of defensive miscues that came up big for the Knights, the Spartan defense was supreme. Other bright spots for the Spartans was a 50.2 punting average by Casey Roberts. Offensively, the Spartans were unable to stop that huge interior line of Southeast. |
