Lincoln, NE. - Friday night 4,253 fans gathered at Seacrest field to witness a fourth quarter pile on by Northeast 52-14. Terence Maahs lead the very young Spartans with 179 first half yards including a 77 yard touchdown pass to Typer McManaman. The defense was playing very hard but, the Rockets lead 24-14 at halftime. The young Spartans gave up a couple big plays and found themselves in trouble the second half.

The Rockets piled up 20 first downs and 427 yards of total offense while scoring on every possession the second half, except when they recovered a Spartan fumble on the 2 yard line after a nice drive. Quarterback Tyler Stephensen lead the Rockets with over 247 yards of total offense. He rushed for a game high of 127 yards and three touchdowns.
