Reason Number 1. Playing for the City Championship for the first time since 1983
Reason Number 2. Sacrificed, worked too hard to relax one game short.
Reason Number 3. Play for my senior teammates. Give my fellow senior their due
Reason Number 4. Play for growth of the Spartans. Give my fellow sophomore and juniors some playing time.
Reason Number 5. This is Lincoln High's playoff game. They would love to end an 0-8 season just like East did two years ago.
Reason Number 6. I believe it's parents night for the seniors.
Reason Number 7. Lincoln High has scored 57 points against Columbus and Norfolk the last two games.
Reason Number 8. Momentum for the playoffs.
Reason Number 9. East needs to learn how to knock teams out early.
Reason Number 10. Lincoln High did not give up last year and only lost to East 35-17 as they made the game close through the third quarter. East had 3 fumbles last year.
Reason Number 11.Still have things to prove. Basically the world believes you have lucked out 5 games. A poor game would only prove their theory.
Reason Number 12. Because your momma and pappa said so.
Reason Number 13. Stanford beats USC. Appalachian State beats Michigan
Reason Number 14. Getting Lincoln High down early and often could help with mending nagging injuries.
Reason Number 15. Finish regular season with the best season record in over 25 years.
Reason Number 16. One of the most important games in modern Spartan history.
