Tied Fourth Best Record Over Two Years
Coach John Gingery and his staff have brought the Spartans back to the top of Class A Nebraska football. During the fall of 2003 season the Spartans were building with a 7-2 season before a first round playoff loss. The next season the Spartans battled with powerhouses Southeast and Millard North after defeating Southwest. After the Southeast game the Spartans went on a 14 game losing streak do to a tragedy to Brady Beran and many major injuries to the program. The talent was there but, the heart, desire and will was gone during those two seasons. The last game of 2005 the Spartans showed the state what they were capable of with a destroying win against North Platte.

The heart, desire and fun returned to Spartan football to match the talent and the Spartans have risen to a 15-4 record over the last two seasons. They have become one of the most feared defenses in the state. Spartan power has returned and only four plays separate a 19-0 record over the last two seasons. Congratulations to the senior class of 2008 for their leadership and will to win.

The following pictures are not for blame or for would of or could senerios. All Spartan teams have been schooled to leave the game with the best that they could do. The photo remind us of the importance of one play. The pictures are to prove how powerful the Spartans have become. GO SPARTANS ! By the way the media has no clue to anything the Spartans have accomplished so let's keep it our little secret.
