Lincoln, NE - Lincoln East Spartans and Lincoln Southeast Knights rivalry has turned ugly the past two years as the Knights rolled for three first quarter touchdowns and put the hurt on by calling timeouts and passing their way to a 41-6 half-time lead. The blowout was witnessed by 3,500 fans and the brutal game found a way to end with a non-clock stopping second half. Devin Washington, track standout transfer from Lincoln High, came up big for the Knights with 4 touchdowns and 112 yards rushing. Grant Ozaki was the lone Spartan to get into end zone on 1 yard rush. Safety Brett Nelson lead East in tackles with seven and returned 5 kickoffs for 96 yards.
Next up for the Spartans will be Lincoln Northeast next Friday night at 8:00.
